Are There Any Diagnosis Fees?

Diagnosis for fee Macbook portables, and Mac Mini is $36. Diagnosis fee for iMac, Apple displays and Mac Pro is $80. The fees are waived if you proceed with any service or repairs. You will be given a quotation of the fees before any repairs. In the event that your Mac is beyond repair, the diagnosis fees are charged as well.

How Long Do The Repairs Take?

Minor repairs such as changing of batteries, hard drive cables, solid-state drive, flash drive, and wifi card replacements can be done on the spot between 5 to 20 mins. LCD replacements take 1/2 – 2 days. Logicboard repairs take 2 – 4 days.

How Much Are Your Typical Repair Fees?

Password resets are done for $50. OS X reinstallation costs $85. Most repairs are under $600. Logicboard replacements ranges from $600 – $800+. We are able to secure brand new logicboards directly from Apple for newer models.

Is There Any Warranty For Your Repairs?

All repairs comes with 90 days warranty. This is the industry standard. Official Apple Authorised Service Providers provide 90 days warranty for out-of-warranty repairs as well. Upgrades come with 3-5 years warranty from official local distributors.

Do You Use Official Local Distributor Parts?

Yes. We are the official reseller for Crucial, Transcend, and Samsung products. All parts such as Solid-State-Drives (SSDs) by Crucial and Samsung are warrantied by their respective official Singapore distributors. We do not parallel import SSDs for sale. Some local companies sell parallel imported SSDs at a cheaper price, but their warranties are only valid in the United States.

Are The Parts You Use New? Are They Original?

Yes, most of them are. We are able to secure brand new original Apple PCIe flash drives, wifi cards, trackpads and case assembly with the inner LCDs. There are no brand new original parts for certain components such as old wifi card models. Other repair centres may claim they have brand new parts for those components but they are likely grade A parts with no cosmetic defects. Some components such as hard drive cables are manufactured by third-parties.

For Macbook batteries, there are very few original parts in the entire repair industry. Only Apple Authorised Service Providers have original Apple stock. Some other repair centres may claim they have original batteries but they are likely replicas.  These batteries are referred to as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) but are not strictly original Apple batteries as they are not assembled by Apple. Our batteries are all tested to have the same capacity as Apple’s products, look the same as originals and may have original new battery cells manufactured by the factories supplying to Apple. We sometimes have original batteries for newer models.

What Are The Methods Of Payment?

We accept cash, interbank transfer, and DBS Paylah!. For interbank transfer, you will need to have your security token dongle with you in order to add a new recipient.
